Chris Ware vs Uncle Boonmee…
We love Chris Ware’s graphic novels and we have more than a passing interest in Asian movies, so not sure how this poster for the Thai movie Uncle Boonmee passed us by, but it proves way to delicious not to post. If anyone knows where we can get our mitts on a print please leave a comment. The movie (Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives - to give it’s full title) tells the tale of a hillside farmer with kidney failure who is visited by visions of his dead family as he nears death. It won the Palme d’Or at Cannes last year. Trailer after the jump…
