Angelica has reported in depth on subjects related to the art market and auction homes, including trade monetary reports, museum art sales, and restitution circumstances. Her latest articles embrace coverage of worldwide auctions at Christie’s, Sotheby’s, and Phillips; requires the return of a Bellotto painting bought underneath duress at a Houston museum to the heirs of its authentic owners; and evaluations of style exhibits in Venice. She has contributed to data and research for the ARTnews Top 200 Collectors issue printed each fall. She has spoken to NPR about her reporting on museum deaccessioning, and her writing has appeared in Art in America, in addition to Los Angeles style and literary magazines Flaunt and Riot Material. Angelica earned a BA in art history from Boston University, and is pursuing a master’s diploma from the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study, with a concentrate on cultural criticism.
